Location: New York, NY – Hybrid

WORK LOCATION=NYC Metro Area. We are seeking candidates who wish to work a hybrid schedule of WFH and two days per week in the NYC offices/in-person. 

Anticipated Salary: $48-50,000, salary commensurate with experience and depending upon workplace.

We are seeking an Assistant Account Executive (AAE) to join our award-winning team. The AAE plays an integral role in support of client teams. Assistant Account Executives must proactively respond to client requests, monitor media alerts and social media channels, and assist team members in executing PR plans.  

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Formulating internal and client meeting agendas 

• Tracking, maintaining, and securing clips 

• Coordinating and attending client and media meetings, as needed 

• Compiling and distributing monthly PR reports 

• Conducting proactive and reactive pitching as necessary 

• Conducting research for clients 

• Updating and maintaining client press materials 

• Building and updating media lists and distributing press releases and pitches 

• Coordinating travel arrangements 

• Regularly researching trends and current events 

• Providing administrative support in the office and at events 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree with relevant coursework in communications, English, business, marketing, etc. 

• Excellent writing / communication skills 

• Relevant internship experience working within a public relations agency, journalism or communications function, is highly desired 

• Excellent Social Media knowledge and proven executional skills 

• Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated and focused on achievement 

• Must be a team player – polished, enthusiastic, service-oriented, and eager to learn 

• Can thrive in a fast-paced environment with an ability to multi-task and get things done 

• Understanding of/passion for travel industry a plus 

• Excellent computer / web skills 

• Willingness/ability to travel as needed for agency or client business.
