Professional Experience

During his 11 years at NBC News, Seigenthaler anchored NBC Nightly News Weekend edition, appeared on Meet The Press, Dateline, TODAYWeekend TODAYMSNBCCNBC and Discovery Channel.  He also was an anchor and reporter in local television news at KOMO TV (ABC) in Seattle, and WKRN TV (ABC) and WSMV TV (NBC) in Nashville.

He is a member of the Newseum board of trustees, the Peabody Awards Board of Jurors and is a member of the judging committee for the RFK Journalism Awards.  Seigenthaler is also on the board of trustees for the not-for-profit agency You Have the Power, whose mission is to empower those victimized by crime.  He holds a B.A. degree in Public Policy Studies from Duke University.

How'd you get here

Seigenthaler is a former anchor and correspondent for NBC Nightly News.  He recently relocated from New York City to Nashville to continue his work in public relations and communications consulting.  His expertise includes media relations, crisis communications, reputation management and video production.  Seigenthaler advises CEOs, Wall Street executives, corporate spokespeople, attorneys, authors and government officials.  He helps business leaders refine their messages, raise their profile and prepare for media interviews, panel discussions and keynote speeches. His media relationships and extensive experience covering international breaking news stories are a critical advantage for clients navigating a potential crisis.
